Delivery and setup, included
Delivery and setup are part of every commission, across the DMV. The finished cake travels to your event, is assembled in place and is left ready shortly before your guests arrive.
The timing follows your event. Tell us when the room will be ready and when the first guests are expected, and the delivery is planned around both.
It is the same for wedding cakes and for birthday and celebration cakes.

A delivery is easiest to plan when the details arrive with the enquiry. None of it needs to be exact at the start; it can be settled in the consultation.

A name and a number for whoever lets it in.
Building access
Anything to plan around, such as a loading area, a front desk or a setup window.
After it is set
Keeping the cake at its best
Keep the cake somewhere cool and out of direct sun until about an hour before serving. Buttercream softens in a warm room; on a hot day, the cool place matters most.
Fresh flowers, toppers and supports are removed before cutting; only the cake itself is served.

Three regions of the DMV
Northern Virginia is where every cake is made by hand. Delivery and setup are included from Fairfax and Arlington to Alexandria, Falls Church and Loudoun, with Prince William, Stafford and Fauquier counties by arrangement.
In Washington, D.C., every quarter of the District is included, from Northwest to Capitol Hill, with the delivery planned around the building.
In Maryland, Montgomery, Prince George’s and Howard counties are included, with Annapolis, Frederick and Baltimore by arrangement.

How far do you deliver?
Delivery and setup are included in Washington, D.C.; in Fairfax, Arlington and Loudoun counties and the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax in Northern Virginia; and in Montgomery, Prince George’s and Howard counties in Maryland. Prince William, Stafford and Fauquier counties, Annapolis, Frederick and Baltimore are reached by arrangement, with travel quoted alongside the design. When will the cake arrive?
Delivery is timed to your event: the cake is assembled in place and left ready shortly before your guests arrive.
Do you deliver to venues as well as homes?
Yes. Venue or home, the cake is delivered there and set in place.
What should we tell you for the delivery?

How should the cake be kept on a warm day?
